my expertise

I am an experienced graphic designer who have designed and developed many websites. I use up-to-date programs to give the customers what they need and want. I often create websites, free of charge, for non-profit organizations that cannot afford to hire a webmaster. I host them on my own hosting account and find them a suitable domain name. Please view my profile for more information. Most of the descriptions found for the softwares are gathered from Wikipedia.

Graphics

Adobe Photoshop - A graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems. It is the current and primary market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation, and is the flagship product of Adobe Systems. It has been described as "an industry standard for graphics professionals" and was one of the early "killer applications" on Macintosh and Windows

Adobe Flash - A set of multimedia technologies developed and distributed by Adobe Systems and earlier by Macromedia. Since its introduction in 1996, Flash technology has become a popular method for adding animation and interactivity to web pages; Flash is commonly used to create animation, advertisements, various web page components, to integrate video into web pages, and, more recently, to develop rich Internet applications.

Adobe Fireworks - A bitmap and vector graphics editor. It was originally developed by Macromedia, which Adobe acquired in 2005, and aimed at web designers (with features such as: slices, the ability to add hotspots etc.). It is designed to integrate easily with other former Macromedia products, such as the popular Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash. It is available as a stand-alone product or bundled with CS3. Version 8 was also bundled with Macromedia Studio 8. The BETA Version Of Adobe Fireworks Requires A Valid CS3 License Key.

Adobe Illustrator - A software that allows you to create sophisticated artwork for virtually any medium. Industry-standard drawing tools, flexible color controls, and professional type controls help you capture your ideas and experiment freely, while timesaving features such as easier-to-access options let you work quickly and intuitively. Improved performance and tight integration with other Adobe applications also help you produce extraordinary graphics for print, web and interactive, and mobile and motion designs.

Microsoft Publisher - A desktop publishing application from Microsoft. It is an entry-level desktop publishing application, differing from Microsoft Word in that the emphasis is placed on page layout and design rather than text composition and proofing. Microsoft Publisher 2007 provides simple story editing with Microsoft Word 2007, but unlike Adobe InDesign & Adobe InCopy, it does not provide built in XML story board and copy-editing support. Also, unlike the core Office 2007 applications, it does not feature the Ribbon user interface.

Programming/Coding

Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage, Microsoft Notepad

Adobe Dreamweaver - A software that allows one to quickly and easily design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications — from start to finish — with Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 software. Built for both designers and developers, Dreamweaver CS3 offers the choice of working in an intuitive visual layout interface or a streamlined coding environment. Intelligent integration with Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Fireworks CS3, Adobe Flash CS3 Professional, and Adobe Contribute CS3 software ensures efficient workflow across your favorite tools.

Microsoft Frontpage - A WYSIWYG HTML editor and web site administration tool from Microsoft for the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems. It was branded as part of the Microsoft Office suite from 1997 to 2003. A Macintosh version was also released in 1998. Microsoft FrontPage has since been replaced by Microsoft Expression Web and Sharepoint Designer, which were released in December 2006.

KISS IC - Interactive C, a programming language and software developed by Kiss Institute for Practical Robotics is designed and used for the Botball Educational Robotics Program.

Engineering

Microsoft Visio - A drawing software package that helps you with all of your drawing and graphing needs - from organization and flow charts - to database designs automatically imported and generated from existing database systems. Software developers can also use Visio to draw UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams to visualize their designs. Furthermore network diagrams can easily be drawn and kept up to date with Visio.

SC SolidWorks - A software that is also known as the global standard in 3D mechanical design software. It helps organizations reduce time-to-market, design better quality product faster, maintain a competitive advantage, and increase sales. SolidWorks delivers powerful 3D design capabilities, unmatched ease-of-use, and an affordable cost.

MathSoft MathCAD - A desktop software for performing and documenting engineering and scientific calculations. First introduced in 1986 on MS-DOS, it was the first to introduce live editing of typeset mathematical notation, combined with its automatic computation. It was also the first to automatically compute and check consistency of engineering units such as the International System of Units (SI). Mathcad today includes some of the capabilities of a computer algebra system but remains oriented towards ease of use and numerical engineering applications.

PTC Pro/Engineer - A 3D CAD parametric feature solid modeling software created by Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC). Its direct competitors are UGS-NX and CATIA, and to a lesser degree SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and SolidEdge. It runs on several UNIX flavours, Linux and Microsoft Windows, and provides solid modeling, assembly modelling and drafting functionality for mechanical engineers.

Others

As a designer, programmer and enginering, I am often forced to sit behind a computer learning different things. I have tried my best of master all of the general softwares out in the world today. Softwares such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and many more.
